Jones was also part of the second team to win the 100-meter Relay race. Jones is a champion of indoor hurdles at the NCAA Championships both in 2003 and 2004. Jones has been training since 2005, when she completed her college studies. In 2005 she won winning the Torino Memorial race, in 2006, she won one of the Heusden and Ostrava racers.

Brandt was born and raised in Cape Town in South African. She emigrated into Auckland New Zealand with her family when she was in her teens. The talent of Brandt was discovered in Auckland through the local casting director Brandt. She took the part of Naevia as the Starz show Spartacus Blood and Sand and Spartacus Gods of the Arena. Her character was popular among the public and producer Steven S. D Knight, Sam Raimi and Sam Raimi. She was on the show's hit Netflix series Lucifer that ran for a six year run playing the fan most loved Vertigo/DC comic book character Mazikeen. Forbes declared Lucifer the show with the highest amount of binge-watching of 2021. Brandt will next appear in the role of Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurira in the limited series of six episodes Walking Dead spin-off which airs in 2024. Her other Netflix projects include the animated adult show Captain Fall starring Jason Ritter, Anthony Carrigan, and Chris Meloni. This will premiere in the month of the month of July in 2023. Lesley Ann Brandt was born on the 2nd of December in Cape Town in South Africa. She is an accomplished New Zealand actress. Lesley Brandt, along with her entire family moved to Auckland New Zealand back in 1999. Her first job was within Auckland as a retail store owner, and was then promoted to an IT consultant. Lesley began her modeling career after which she began appearing in commercials. She completed her acting major in 2008 and continued to research Meisner's techniques. Lesley's very first prominent acting role was on the TV drama series Diplomatic Immunity in New Zealand. Lesley Brandt was a guest actor in New Zealand's TV drama Shortland Street. In a subsequent sci-fi adaptation This Is Not My Life she played the town of Waimoana. Lesley Brandt was cast in the Television series Spartacus: Blood and Sand as Naevia who was a teenager hostage. She was later depicted in the Spartacus: Gods of the Arena mini-series.
