Alison Wright was born in London in England. She was nominated for an Emmy Award in the year 2017 for her role as Martha Hanson, the star of the FX's period-set spy show The Americans. The other roles she has played are the Ryan Murphy series Feud, Bette & Joan in Hollywood. Wright was born on 12 July 1976 at Sunderland, Tyne and Wear, where she was raised by adopted parents. She began dancing and acting at a young age. She studied acting and dancing in New York City's highly regarded Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute and The Barrow Group. The waitress was employed and auditioned for parts. She was scuba diving as a major passion of hers, after suffering a heart incident at sea, which put her in an induced state of coma. She died peacefully six days later, in the company of the affection of her family who had travelled to the hospital to be at her bedside. Wright was a Sunderland native, born on 12th July, 1976. There, she was fostered as a young girl by her adoptive family. She began dancing and acting at a young age.
