Maria Menounos

Maria was helping her mother suffering from the stage 4 brain cancer. Maria was able to recognize that she had the middle of a health crisis. In February 2014 Menounos started experiencing troubling symptoms. She has told PEOPLE that she was experiencing headaches and lightheadedness from February 2014. "My speech had become blurred, and I was having trouble reading the transcript". Menounos has been identified as suffering from a large meningioma brain tumor. A MRI confirmed the diagnosis. Menounos set an appointment see her mother's neurosurgeon, Dr. Keith L. Black. The surgery was scheduled for June 8, Menounos 39th birthday. The doctor told her that, "I am 98 percent sure that it's benign but it is not certain until we are in there," Dr. Black managed to eliminate 99.9% of benign tumors in a complex operation that took seven hours. According Dr. Black, there is the possibility that it will return. But I will consider these odds any day of the week. Menounos returned home after a six-day stay in hospital. She is currently recuperating and enjoying her time with Litsa the mother of her. Litsa's latest MRI confirms that she's unaffected by cancer. Maria Maria Maria
